ESPN One Page
Make ESPN articles appear in single page format
I read more ESPN than I should. And when they started making articles spread across multiple pages (do they really need more impressions to sell?) I started to go insane. Then while browsing the Greasemonkey Wiki after installing Greasemonkey, I realized that I could get my single page view back.
How to Use This Script
-
Make sure that you are using the Firefox Web browser.
Firefox is an excellent browser. It's fast, powerful, and handles new web features with aplomb on any operating system. -
Install the Greasemonkey Firefox extension
Greasemonkey is a tool that runs user defined javascripts for various sites. These scripts can alter just about any aspect of the page being viewed. -
After relaunching Firefox, right click the 'Right Click to Install' link above and choose 'install user.js' Now when you visit ESPN, all the links will be set to single page view. Ahhhh....
To see what the script is doing, left click the install link and the code will display. I've put in a lot of comments so that anyone can follow along. Nothing sneaky going on here.
New Features?
If you have a request, feel free to drop a message to: greasemonkey at this domain.
